Clark University - Candidate for Masters in International Development and Social Change What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning? My father, Engr. M. Abu Taher and my mother, Begum Lutfa Taher. My father is an honest humble man whom has done so much to help so many different people but has expected nothing in return. My mother, an honest woman, whom has done everything she can to help people and has embraced everyone as their own by loving them. I am forever indebted to my fathers way of thinking- to put someone else always ahead before myself- and my mothers love to share with everyone. Also the opportunity to help people, and make a difference in their lives gets me up every morning. At the end of the day, the laughs and smiles give the reasons to live life to the fullest. To see someone happy is seeing the purity and wonderful aspects of human life. What holds you back; vices? Nothing, Im a dare devil, nothing is impossible, everything is possible, when there is a will there is a way, just find the will every day. Character (TV, Book, Movie) you most relate to: Angelina Jolie, Bono trying to make a difference and help the world (only difference the world does not know who I am yet). Something new you would like to accomplish: Go on a backpacking tour in Europe, go travel to Latin American countries, and watch Manchester United games! Build Bangladesh and then build the rest of the world where there is no water, electricity or any schools! Personal interests: Football (soccer), Squash, business, Cricket, Movies, helping people, giving advices, fashion, Manchester united, project-Bangladesh, cooking, social entrepreneurship, listening to music, philosophy, and the list goes on Why be a part goSwoop? Because goSwoop is a honest family trying to show the world that everything is not all about the money, its also about the excitement, adventure and also about learning and helping other people because there is a responsibility to those who are fortunate to give back. goSwoop allows me to learn about the worlds cultures, people and values through the people that I meet and encounter- its time to go swoop the world! |
